Name: 1950s Vintage Blue Satin Cocktail Fit and Flare Dress

This is a very lovely deep blue satin and ruffle lace fit and flare dress which appears to have had an interesting past. It originates from a much earlier date than the 50s, probably from the late 30s but has been dramatically altered to make it more fashionable to the 1950s era, which was done often to much loved dresses at the time. The alterations have made the dress shorter in length and the seamstress has added panels to the sides to make it larger, it has been expertly done by a professional, making the dress now ready for rock n roll dancing, as opposed to 30s jazz.

Short sleeves, sweetheart neckline.
Covered button decorative feature down the front of the skirt.
Side zip fastening.
Blue satin with white ruffle lace.

In very good condition - Overall it is in very lovely condition, the lace is slightly age discoloured but the dress is very much wearable.
